IntroductionEpp Maria Gallery is a family-owned art gallery that carries both artistic and family values. There are three generations of artists represented in the gallery: Imbi Lind (born 1939) and her husband Luulik Kokamägi (1921-1986), their daughter Epp Maria Kokamägi (born 1959) and her husband Jaak Arro (born 1957) and their three children Liisu Arro (born 1981), Anni Arro (born 1983) and Johannes Arro (born 1985). This gallery is a work of art and a unique phenomenon even in the world scale. One can create literature, music or art, but one can also create an environment. We decided to create a gallery and share the belief of the famous Russian artist Nicholas Roerich* that recognition of beauty can save the world. The gallery is located in Haapsalu, one of Estonia’s most picturesque small towns that became famous for its cafes and mud treatment spas already centuries ago. Also our gallery building has experienced the sweet aromas of a cafeteria. During the first Republic of Estonia it housed Valdmanni Café, one of the most famous cafeterias in Haapsalu and beyond. And we are as ambitious with our gallery as Ms. Valdmann was with her café. Our gallery offers for sale paintings by Epp Maria Kokamägi, ceramics by Liisu Arro and also includes a kitchen where Anni Arro is creating recipes that make your mouth water. We plan to host a personal exhibition of Jaak Arro and a joint display of works of Imbi Lind and Luulik Kokamägi. The youngest member of this art family - Johannes Arro – is represented through his photo creations. The gallery is located on two floors. We can host receptions, corporate events, meetings or birthdays for up to 40 people. We guarantee a private and cosy atmosphere according to your needs and requirements. For more information, please e-mail Maret Allikas at maret@eppmaria.ee or call +372 56 97 1281 The display of the gallery is changed on an ongoing basis. You are welcome to come and share it with us! Yours, * Russian painter, costume and set designer, archaeologist, publisher and a prominent figure Nicholas Roerich (1874 St. Petersburg, Russia - 1947 Punjab, India) spent a summer holiday in Haapsalu in 1910.
