Epp Maria Kokamägi är född i Tallinn den 28 januari 1959. 1983 avlade hon examen som målarkonstnär vid Estniska statliga konstinstitutet (Eesti Riiklik Kunstiinstituut). Hon är sedan 1984 medlem i Estniska konstnärsförbundet.

Epp Maria Kokamägis skapande verksamhet omfattar områdena oljemålning, akvarellmålning, illustrering av böcker samt teater- och filmscenografi.

Epp Maria Kokamägi är dotter till Imbi Lind och Luulik Kokamägi och hennes make är Jaak Arro.
